Day care is having a bake sale tomorrow and I said we would bring something. As you are my witness, I will not eat any of these Brownies.

:)Aimee? is that a coincidence that the AHA logo is on the bottom left of that pic?? what I do to avoid temptation is to buy ShopRite brownies and repackage them. That way I don't have to deal with the yummy smell and trimmings at home.

ReplyDeleteI am pleased to report that a full ziplock of cut Brownies made it to the day care center so that they can sell the entire contents of the pan that I made up. I learned my lesson the last time and decided to not make cupcakes; too much leftover and too much temptation. Even my husband didn't (technically) eat any, but he did scrape up the crumbs in the dish. Amazing how much strength you have when the entire house is in on it.
ReplyDeleteJody: The Share Our Strength logo is at the bottom left; it supports an end to childhood hunger. Of course, the solution isn't Brownies, but I guess my purchase supported a good cause.
I have to admit I have a sweet tooth myself. But a healthy heart and tight biscuits are better:-)
