Last night it was recommended that we eat salmon 2X/week. I asked about sardines as a source of omega 3 fatty acids, and the speaker was not able to answer. I asked because salmon is $16/lb, and sardines are $1.49/can. Yikes - big difference. I googled sardines this morning and yes! they are a very acceptable source of omega 3 fatty acids.
